Ben Coffey Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner & Sports Injury Specialist – Clinical Director






Ben joined the Surrey Physio Group in 2013 after relocating from France, where he successfully ran his own physiotherapy and osteopathy practice in Annecy. With nearly three decades of experience, Ben brings a wealth of clinical expertise in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and performance optimisation. He is also a fully qualified osteopath, having trained in France, and holds advanced practitioner status with NHS England’s Centre for Advancing Practice.
A specialist in running and cycling biomechanics, Ben draws on his background as an accomplished endurance athlete—having competed in numerous ultramarathons and long-distance cycling events. His approach focuses on improving technique and posture to enhance performance and prevent injury, working with athletes of all levels. He also incorporates lifestyle and nutritional advice into his treatments to support long-term health and recovery.
Ben has performed over 8,000 advanced procedures, including corticosteroid and hyaluronic acid injections and joint aspirations, and is also a non-medical prescriber. For more details, please visit the Services page.

Bernardo Leal Specialist Sports Physiotherapist


Bernardo Leal is a passionate Portuguese sports physiotherapist with expertise in sports injury rehabilitation and performance optimisation. His career began working with a professional volleyball team and professional footballers, fueling his dedication to sports physiotherapy.
Bernardo adopts a holistic approach to treatment, combining therapeutic exercise with lifestyle modifications, exercise monitoring, nutrition, and psychosocial support to effectively manage pain and restore function. He is committed to empowering patients to lead healthy, active lives and continue doing the activities they love.
Bernardo currently serves as the physiotherapist for Farnborough FC Women’s First Team, where he applies his specialised skills to support elite athletes.
Malcolm Hunter Specialist Sports Physiotherapist

Malcolm qualified as a physiotherapist in South Africa in 2010 and has since developed a strong focus on sports-specific physiotherapy. He has had the privilege of traveling with international athletes and sports teams, gaining invaluable experience in high-performance environments. Since relocating to the UK, Malcolm has further advanced his skills, completing training in dry needling, orthopaedic manipulations, and qualifying as an injection therapist.
With a personal passion for swimming and triathlon—sports in which he has competed extensively—Malcolm has developed a special interest in shoulder pathologies, drawing on his own experiences with shoulder injuries. Most recently, he took on the swimming leg of the 2023 London Triathlon at a remarkable pace as part of our fundraising team for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
An accomplished endurance athlete, Malcolm has completed multiple marathons and endurance races and continues to compete in masters open water swimming events, bringing his athletic insight to every patient he treats.
Jade Graham Specialist Sports Physiotherapist


Jade joined Farnborough Physio after graduating from the University of Brighton with a strong academic foundation and a passion for sports injury rehabilitation. As a former competitive dancer and a 1st degree black belt in Tae-Kwon Do, she brings a deep, first-hand understanding of the physical demands and injury risks associated with high-level performance.
Her clinical experience includes leading physiotherapy stations at the London Marathon and working with Netball France during the Europe Netball Open Challenge—exposing her to a wide range of sporting injuries across various disciplines. This diverse experience has shaped her versatile approach to treatment.
Jade specialises in manual therapy combined with tailored rehabilitation programs. She is committed to ensuring every patient, whether an athlete or not, receives a personalised exercise plan that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and recovery needs.
Known for her professionalism, enthusiasm, and patient-centred care, Jade plays a key role in creating a supportive and welcoming environment at Farnborough Physio.
Felix Yellow Specialist Sports Physiotherapist

Felix graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Budapest, Hungary, in 2017 and joined Farnborough Physio in December 2021. While specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Felix brings a broad and diverse background, having initially spent three years working in neurological rehabilitation with both children and adults affected by neurological and developmental conditions. This experience has given him a distinctive insight into managing complex cases and tailoring personalised treatment plans.
Felix is also skilled in sports rehabilitation and is highly regarded for his hands-on approach, using manual therapy techniques that consistently deliver positive results—earning him the nickname “Healing Hands.” In addition to physiotherapy, he is a trained acupuncturist and massage therapist, enabling him to provide a holistic, multi-faceted approach to patient care.
Outside of work, Felix stays active through table tennis, gym workouts, and football. His passion for physical activity, combined with his commitment to patient wellbeing, makes him a valued member of the Farnborough Physio team.
Alexandra Hillan Specialist Sports Physiotherapist

Alex’s passion for physiotherapy was sparked by her own experience with sports injuries during her teenage years. She earned her degree in physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool in 2020 and has since gained valuable experience working within the NHS in both Liverpool and Guildford. Driven by a strong personal interest in sports, Alex chose to specialise in musculoskeletal outpatient care.
A dedicated lacrosse player since the age of 11, Alex combines her athletic background with her clinical expertise to provide insightful and effective care. She balances her time between working part-time at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Farnborough Physio.
Alex is committed to a holistic, personalised approach—utilising manual therapy, tailored exercise programmes, and patient education to treat musculoskeletal conditions at their source and support a full, sustainable recovery.
Jordan Thompson Specialist Sports Physiotherapist


Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Therapy and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Her master’s dissertation focused on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries in women’s football, reflecting her in-depth knowledge of sports-related injuries and rehabilitation. As a striker for Farnborough Football Club Women’s First Team, Jordan combines her practical experience as an athlete with her clinical expertise in sports preparation and injury recovery.

Celine Coffey Patient Services Administrator – Marketing


Celine is currently undertaking a degree in advertising and brand design but is available to work in reception at Milestone House three days per week. She is also responsible for the website design and photography for Farnborough Physio and the social media and official photography for Farnborough FC Women’s first Team. @brandbyceline
Gabrielle Coffey Receptionist

Gabby is currently studying Chemistry, Biology, and French at Farnborough 6th Form College. Earlier this year she spent a week at Farnborough Physio for workplace experience organised by her college and really enjoyed helping the physiotherapists and interacting with patients. She demonstrated a natural ability to communicate well with people and assist them with their appointments and queries. As a result of this she was very keen to do some part-time work and further her experience in the medical field. We are very happy to have her on board!
Ellie Stalley Patient Services Administrator

Ellie is a talented graphic design student and a leading striker for Farnborough FC Women’s First Team. With a football career that began at just four years old, she has developed a deep passion for sports and a keen interest in sports injury prevention and rehabilitation. Over the past two years, Ellie has distinguished herself as the top goal scorer in the Hampshire County Women’s Football League, combining her athletic excellence with a growing commitment to understanding the physical demands and challenges athletes face.
